The One Thing Most Working Moms Don’t Have

Hey Reader

Working moms carry a constant stream of thoughts.

Schedules.
School forms.
Work deadlines.
Doctor appointments.
Dinner.
Laundry.
Snacks.

Your brain runs all day long.

But here is the uncomfortable question: Who actually hears you?

Most moms are the listener.

You listen to your kid.
You listen to everyone at work.
You listen to your family.

But when is someone listening to you?

This week I met with my coach. Like usual, the first five minutes looked like pure rambling.

Half-finished sentences.
Jumping from one topic to another.
Thoughts that didn’t feel organized.

And she didn’t interrupt.

Instead she did two simple things:

  1. She asked a few sharp follow-up questions.
  2. She reflected back what she heard.

That was it.

But something important happens when someone truly listens. Your nervous system slows down. Your thoughts begin to organize themselves. The chaos in your mind becomes clearer.

Most moms don’t lack ideas.
They lack space to process them.

When you finally feel heard, you can think again. You can make decisions again. You can move toward the things that matter to you.

And those things matter even while you are still doing the daily work of motherhood:

So here is a question worth asking yourself this week:

Who actually hears you?

Not who you vent to occasionally.
Not who gives you quick advice.

Who creates space for your thoughts to land and get you out of survival mode? Click REPLY and tell me.

Mom Connection

Hey Reader I almost didn’t notice it. A full month went by… and I hadn’t had real social interaction. Then I watched my kids at an Easter egg hunt. They were smiling. I was smiling. And something clicked. I haven’t been lacking discipline.I haven’t been doing anything wrong. I’ve just been harder on myself than necessary. Because I kept trying to “fix” the feeling. Yoga.Breathing.Journaling. And still… low energy. Still off. So I assumed: something must be wrong with me. But there wasn’t. What...

Mom Goals Accomplished

Hey Reader, This week I noticed something different in my body. Relief. Not because everything was perfect. Not because I checked every box. But because I paused long enough to look back. If you’ve been in my spaces, you know I love to plan. Not just to be productive but because planning lets me dream. It connects me to a version of myself that believes things are possible. Every 3 months I review my goals and reset for the next quarter. This week, I did that. April is around the corner. What...

Mom To-do List

Hey Reader, I’ve noticed how much moms rely on both internal and external guidance. Inside, there are two voices. One says: You can do this. You’re capable. You’re strong. The other says: You’re behind. You’re failing. Who do you think you are? Outside there’s a different pressure. The to-do list. The school emails. The work deadlines. The laundry that multiplies overnight. So you push and you try to organize. You try to outrun the chaos like you’re in a marathon. Meanwhile, your body is...
